Rhino Tripping Tours

A small private touring company that was started in 2008. We focus on small groups and tailor make tours according to clients requirements.

City and Table mountain tours, Cape Point with Boulders Beach and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Hermanus during whale season and of course the wine country. These are the main attractions around Cape Town. By doing the private tours, you as the client decide where to spend your time. We also offer garden route tours, if you want to spend time outside of Cape Town. These tours are anything from 3 to 6 days, this is recommended as there is a lot to do.

We know Cape Town!

Tours

This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way.

The Cape Peninsula is one of the world’s most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point. We travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach.

The Winelands Tour

This delightful drive winds its way to the heart of the Cape Winelands, through superb mountain  ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads.

Head off to the wine country via the N2 to the heart of South Africa's wine industry, Stellenbosch, boasting great beauty and culture that is steeped in South African history.

Penguins & Whales

Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town has a lot going for it: the boulders protect it from the wind and large waves. The soft white sand and warm(ish) waters are not the only reasons why 60 000 visitors a year make their way along the coast, the local inhabitants—African penguins in their thousands—know how to pull the crowds. You can see the penguins throughout the year.

False Bay is the best place close to town for whale watching. During the whale-watching season, you might even be lucky enough to spot them close up if you take the train trip from Muizenberg to Simon’s Town. Hermanus is rated as one of the top 12 whale-watching locations in the world by the World Wildlife Fund. It offers some fine land-based viewing opportunities because the whales often come within metres of the shoreline. The beautiful stretch of coastline that offers plenty of opportunities to spot whales. There are numerous small, coastal towns along this stretch that are havens of fishing, hiking and adventure sports.

Inner City Tour

Cape Town’s inner city area, or Central Business District, is situated between the V&A Waterfront and the City Bowl suburbs.

The Mother City offers something for everyone – whether you’re looking for markets, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, theatres or museums.
